Are forums dying?

Controversial topic but always a fun one to see what everyone thinks.

Some people say forums are a dying breed.

What do you think?

Based on what I see on ForumSpark, I would argue that they are dying. We’ve seen a good amount of new communities being build and migrated, so I believe forums still have their foot on the internet.

When I look back at topics on other sites from a decade ago, people were crying back then that forums were dying. And yet, some of those are still around 🙂

Not dying, just not as popular, but there are tons of popular ones still around. Reddit is basically a forum.

I think they are actually getting more popular than their bottom.
