Badges

I’ve had a couple of people suggest badges for Spark Promotion but we really need an extension or something for it. Basically they could be granted manually or automatically based on various things such as member length, post count, etc.

These would display in the member profile and somewhere in the users post. Either under the post or in the post rail.

Spark Promotion – Promote your forum, discover new communities, and grow your online presence.
PopFuse – Your hub for movies, TV shows, music, gaming, celebrities, and pop culture.

How is that different from Achievements listed under Community>Groups and Roles?

I never noticed that 😛

Okay -

It would be great if I could create new categories.

It would be great to choose which ones show in the post rail or under posts, None show in posts right now.

Say for example, Christmas time comes along and I want to give out a Christmas badge and people can show it in their posts.

It would also be great to be able to upload images higher than 512 kilobytes.

Also when I try to delete a custom one I get taken to a page that says this

We can't find that page

The page may have been moved or removed. Here are a couple of ways back into the community.

I understand what you want to do and you’re right, the system doesn’t do that right now.

You can find your Achievements in your Profile. Go to yours or click on someone’s name to see theirs and then you’ll see Content and Achievements and About. Click on Achievements.

Now, on the left side bar at the bottom it says No Achievements showcased yet. To showcase one, go to that Achievement link and click on the star on the far right (all of this is for the laptop because I don’t login using my phone).
