Holiday Month Forum

What do you all think about this idea?

Let’s say you make a forum for Halloween or Christmas discussions.

However, the month of October (or December) is the only time the forum is open.

After that, you shut the forum down until the next holiday next year.

Seems odd, but do you think it’s enough to make people want to join in so they can converse for the month before it’s too late?

Scarcity marketing if you will.

I would prefer an all holiday forum and then have sections for each holiday. Those specific ones can close and open at the right times.

That could definitely work if you’d rather keep the forum open all the times.

But it would almost be interesting to see a forum only open for a month and see how active it got.
