Why did you migrate from one forum platform to another?

What things were missing from the first platform that the other had? Did expense play a part?

One reason I WAS going to migrate from Jcink was because it hasn’t had any real new features added in a long time. I’m always looking for different things to add to make my forum unique.. Forum Spark has a lot I like and over time perhaps various extensions could have been added…. alas there are things I currently have that I cant have here…and things here I dont like…then there are my themes. I tried the AI theme generator thingy and was underwhelmed tbh…sorry I mean no offence but for example..I typed in halloween and it came up with brown and orange…so i typed spooky halloween and got the same… the comparison between that and my themes is night and day… over the years I’ve tried phpBB3…SMF…proboards…Mybb but eventually settled with Jcink…and that is where I shall stay….

I migrated my old general forum from vBulletin 6 to XenForo because VB6 just wasn’t offering me what I was looking for.

Plus, it was hard for me to get used to it. I’ve used XF since it was first made. I’m used to it more than anything else.

Although I’m starting to like Forum Spark a lot more.

I think I’m preferring FS over Xenforo too! Xenforo is just too business looking…and I guess stiffy and stodgy is a good way to describe it. ForumSpark is more comfortable feeling.
